Design Dutch embassy in Bangkok, Thailand
Hubert Jan Henket architects has gained as maincontractor the order to design a new office building and to renovate residence for the Dutch embassy in Bangkok. The Dutch partners in the designteam are:
- ABT Arnhem (structural design)
- Huisman & Van Muijen 's Hertogenbosch (conditioning and services)
- Climatic Design Consult (building physics)
- Michael R. van Gessel (landscaping)
The design intends to link functional conditioned interior spaces to the local outside climate by zones with intermediate comfort conditions. The concept of addaptive comfort will be applied. Construction has begun.
